This week I saw “Suicide Squad”, by director David Ayer. The only other movie he did that anybody knows was "Fury", which was pretty bad, too. The thing is, Suicide Squad wants to be "Deadpool" so bad, it should have just been rated R so he could finish it. It's a half-baked action movie that just couldn’t be finished because it will get more money if more people can see it.
Suicide Squad is like someone playing a video game, kind of a “choose your character” theme and when they are introducing the characters, its song after song after song for the next 15 minutes. The first half of the movie is a run-on torture scene, and then the second half is just another dark, gory DC Film.
Suicide Squad is dull, a plot filler, and at times, it seems like someone was drunk while making it. It's a big build up, which leads to a bigger let down, especially when I realized that none of the part in the trailer were actually in the movie. Plus, The Joker was only on for 15 minutes of the film, which was disappointing, because Jared Leto's performance was spot on, alongside Margot Robbie and Will Smith’s.
There are rumors that Jared Leto was a jerk on set, Margot Robbie hated her costume, and that the script was only written in six weeks! It Showed.
Suicide Squad was Good, but ONLY Good. I'd give it a 65% out of 100.

The next week I saw “Sully”, by Director Clint Eastwood, who has directing a couple other good movies, like "American Sniper".
Compared to Suicide Squad, I was very impressed! It was very descriptive of what really happened and It didn’t repeat its point as much as I thought (the entire incident was about 130 seconds long and the movie is 1 and a half hours). Its descriptive, and cleverly filmed, because It wraps everything up so quickly and you are left thinking “wow”.
